Matt LeBlanc rarely appears in Los Angeles

As the one-year anniversary of Matthew Perry’s sudden death approaches, his impact continues to reverberate through the lives of those closest to him. Matt LeBlanc, who played Joey Tribbiani on the sitcom Friends, has been keeping a low profile since Perry’s tragic death on October 28, 2023.

On Friday, LeBlanc was spotted walking outside a car showroom in Van Nuys, California (photos taken by Daily Mail). He wore a simple black T-shirt, black jeans, and kept his look casual with a dark blue baseball cap, Nike shoes, and a gray beard.

Matt LeBlanc hasn’t been much of a social media user lately, and hasn’t updated his Instagram since he paid tribute to his late colleague and friend. He last appeared in November 2023, joining Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, David Schwimmer, and Lisa Kudrow to bid Perry farewell at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in the Hollywood Hills of Los Angeles.

Matt LeBlanc raises health concerns

The photos, taken by the Daily Mail, quickly went viral, attracting fans of Joey and Chandler Bing who were eager to see them. However, Matt LeBlanc’s almost unrecognizable appearance, characterized by visible weight loss and an elderly appearance, caused a wave of concern among fans and media alike. Many expressed their concerns about the actor’s well-being. However, many defended the star, saying he was aging gracefully, as one would expect from someone approaching 60.

“So he gained weight?” Someone commented on a photo shared on X. (formerly Twitter). “I hope he’s doing well,” wrote another. “In case you didn’t know, most men gain weight and go grey or bald as they age. Most people in their 50s don’t look the same as they did in their 20s,” defended a third.

“It is with a heavy heart that I say goodbye. The moments we spent together are honestly some of the favorite moments of my life,” Matt wrote to Perry in a heartfelt message in November. “It was an honor to share the stage with you and call you my friend. I will always smile when I think of you and I will never forget you. Ever,” he added in the caption alongside photos of his co-star.
