Lady Gaga showed off her giant engagement ring for the first time at the Venice Film Festival

If you didn’t already know that Lady Gaga is engaged, she confirmed the happy news at the Venice International Film Festival in the form of her giant diamond engagement ring. The singer and actress showed off her giant rock to cameras on September 3, giving us all our first look at the stone since she inadvertently revealed her engagement to Michael Polansky at the Paris Olympics earlier this summer.

Gaga paired the stunning new ring with a sculptural black minidress that featured large white polka dots and a large bow detail on the front, as well as ruffled bell sleeves. She completed the girly look with an equally girly but uncharacteristically simple half-up hairstyle, black tights, and black pointed-toe pumps.
