Hammond man arrested in drug bust, deputies say

HAMMOND, La. (WAFB) – A Hammond man was arrested following a narcotics investigation in Tangipahoa Parish.

According to the authorities, Jordan Recatto, 30, faces multiple drug-related charges in connection with a sophisticated drug operation involving the sale of high-grade marijuana, marijuana variations, and other drugs.

The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office said their narcotics detectives conducted a search warrant of Recatto’s residence in Hammond following months of investigating.

During the search, investigators said they found evidence of a highly-developed production and sales operation.

Recatto was booked into the Tangipahoa Parish Jail on Thursday, August 1.
